September Reset Challenge

A free, 5-day guided reset for your goals: 30 minutes a day, at your own pace, no pressure.

If you’re like most of us, you set some goals at some point this year. Maybe it was back in January, or at the start of summer, or the beginning of your fiscal year. Now, as we move into September, you might be wondering: are these still the right goals? Am I making progress? Or did life just happen, and your goals got quietly shelved?

That’s exactly what the September Reset Challenge is for.

Good planning isn’t a once-and-done event. It’s one of the foundational principles behind Fosgail’s Integrated Library Planning approach, and it’s just as true for personal and professional goals as it is for library strategic plans. Planning works best as a frequent, cyclical, inquiry-driven process. Goals aren’t meant to be set once and defended forever. They’re meant to be checked in on, questioned, and adjusted, again and again—because that’s what keeps a plan alive and useful instead of letting it sit untouched until the next big review.

This challenge brings that same principle to your own personal and professional goals, in a small, guided way.

What You’ll Get

  • Five short days, about 30 minutes each—read, watch, or both
  • A guided practice for checking in on your goals and making meaningful adjustments
  • Work at your own pace—no live sessions, no fixed schedule once you enroll
  • Completely free, with no obligation to join anything further
  • Optional, low-pressure comments if you’d like to connect with others doing the challenge alongside you
  • A small badge on your Fosgail Community profile once you complete it

How It Works

Day 1 opens September 1, and enrollment stays open through September 30—join anytime in that window and move through the five days whenever works for you. Each day unlocks once you’ve completed the one before it, so there’s no pressure to keep pace with anyone else.

This challenge is also a gentle way to get a feel for the Fosgail Community, hosted on Mighty Networks. There’s no pressure to join anything beyond the challenge itself, and no obligation once you’re here. If it resonates, we’d love for you to stick around and see what else the community offers. If it’s simply what you need this September, that’s more than enough too.
