What to expect from Fosgail
Getting connected to a Fosgail consultant starts with scheduling a free Discovery Meeting. This is an opportunity for you to share with us what you’re looking for and for us to learn exactly what it is you’re wanting to achieve. During our conversation, we’ll ask you about your organization, your mission, and how our consultants might help. We will also ask you questions about your goals, your timeline, and your budget. If you’ve already developed a Request for Information, Quotation, or Proposal (RFI, RFQ, or RFP), we’d love you to bring that to the Discovery Meeting to jump-start our conversation.
Shortly after your Discovery Meeting, usually within 5 business days, we will send you our proposal. The proposal includes an outline of how we will consult with you and establishes what the scope of work will be. We are flexible and may propose working with you on an hourly basis, as part of a limited-term engagement, or on a retainer, depending on what needs emerge during your Discovery Meeting. If a limited-term engagement is what fits best for your situation, we also include a timeline and a description of the deliverables you’ll receive. We also include our contracting terms so that you can preview those alongside the quote we provide. If there’s anything that we didn’t get quite right or anything you’d like to negotiate, we are happy to have further conversation with you about our proposal. Once everything is just right and you’re certain Fosgail is your partner of choice for consulting, we’ll securely send a final copy for your signature.
Once we finalize a contract with you, we begin the consultation as described in your agreed-upon proposal. We maintain transparency with you while we work, keeping you apprised of our progress and checking-in regularly to make sure we’re meeting your needs. We also maintain confidentiality and do not discuss or disclose our consulting work with anyone outside of your organization without your permission. You’ll have opportunities to provide us with feedback along the way, ensuring that we are meeting your needs and providing you with the expert guidance you desire.
