An H5P Course Presentation to introduce new students to useful technology tools.

I developed this H5P Course Presentation in July 2020 for Lancaster Theological Seminary’s new student orientation. Before COVID-19 forced everything online, I co-taught a three-hour session with the Registrar during new student orientation where we walked through all the technologies that students are expected to use. When our new student orientation went entirely online in 2020 (along with everything else), I created this H5P resource to help students discover and learn more about the Gmail platform for their school email account, our Moodle online course platform, Google Drive, additional software they might need, Zoom for our synchronous virtual class meetings, and websites and social media to stay connected.

Even though we return to campus and in-person classes this fall, we’re reusing this resource again in lieu of the in-person technology walk-through we had been doing up to 2019.
